Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) for AY 2024-2025
The Commission on Higher Education hereby informs the interested student applicants of the call for applications for the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) for Academic Year (AY) 2024 – 2025.
- Filipino citizen
- Graduating high school student/high school graduate with a general weighted average grade (GWA) of 80% or its equivalent or college student with earned academic units relevant to the degree programs identified by PCA with a GWA of 80% the previous semester or its equivalent;
- Pass the entry level requirements of identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs);
- Not be a recipient of any government-funded financial assistance program;
- Duly registered coconut farmer in the NCFRS or his/her dependent;
- Must have a combined annual gross income of parents not exceeding ₱300,000.00

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
REGULAR ALLOWANCES
A. Stipend (includes foods, educational tours, transportation, smaller projects, medical insurance, internet use, communication)
SEMESTER - Php 35,000.00
ACADEMIC YEAR - Php 70,000.00
B. Book Allowance and other learning materials
SEMESTER - Php 5,000.00
ACADEMIC YEAR - Php 10,000.00
TOTAL - Php 80,000.00
OTHER ALLOWANCES
A. Thesis and/or OJT allowance
ACADEMIC YEAR - Php 75,000.00
B. One-time attendance on local conference/fora (should ber related to the undergraduate program and to be given during the junior or senior standing. The activity should not be on the same HEI where the beneficiary is enrolled)
ACADEMIC YEAR - Php 10,000.00
C. One-time financial assistance for the purchase of a laptop computer (to be given during the first year of the scholarship grant)
ACADEMIC YEAR - Php 30,000.00
TOTAL - Php 115,000.00
GRAND TOTAL - Php 195,000.00
The application period is open from March 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024, and the applications must be submitted to the concerned CHED Regional Office (CHEDRO) through the link below:
