Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) Scholarship Program for AY 2024-2025

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program is a highly regarded scholarship program funded by the Hungarian government that is open to international students, including those from the Philippines. This scholarship is overseen by CHED and covers a range of academic disciplines, enabling students to earn Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees at prestigious universities in Hungary.
The Commission on Higher Education hereby invites interested parties to nominate candidates to the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2024-2025 to be held in Hungary under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Hungary.
The scholarship will cover tuition fees for the entire study period, dormitory accommodation assistance, monthly subsistence allowance, and medical insurance. Since 2016, the Government of Hungary has awarded a total of one hundred forty-two (142) successful grantees to various programs in different levels under the scholarship. In nominating your candidate, we would like to invite your attention to the attached qualification and documentary requirements of the SH program. For reference and guidance, you may also access the herein list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS) regarding the scholarship.

Please submit the letter of nomination signed by the duly authorized official together with the required documents on or before 22 January 2024 to the CHED International Affairs Service (IAS) through stipendium@ched.gov.ph. Candidates who meet the basic qualification requirements of the program will be informed by the lAS of the schedule and meeting credentials for the online panel interview.

The deadline for online submission of scholarship documents at the SH online application portal is on 15 January 2024.
